watercolor night sketch

This is a site in our neighborhood (Weldon Circle) painted a few weeks ago in the night  Normally there are cars parked sided by side, but this occasion it was empty due to an flea market event early the next day.   I had to capture this feeling in some form of medium.  I chose watercolor, which I'm enjoying die to its fluidity and sometimes unexpected surprises.  

Our son arrived early Saturday morning a week ago! That makes 3 kids, 4 , 2 and newborn. Life is getting busy. Here's a fun dog walk sketch. I'm doing fewer these days as our dog is at our in laws until we get a bit more settled and into a routine.
