Clara drawings

I really love these 2 drawings by Clara.  They were completed back in June when Clara was 29 months.  The unique color palette, and freedom of mark is vsually treating.  A link of more of her work is here

Giraffe painting

This piece was submitted to my daughters preschool silent auction and fundraiser.  The painting was well received.   

From the Sketchbook

This is a 5 minute sketch where I was in a rush to get Calem out the door and pick up Clara from preschool.  When I saw him sleeping I had to stop for a moment, reach for a pen, and forget about getting out the door.

Here's a drawing Clara did today.   I always leave colors out and accessible to her when she feels inspired to make marks in her sketch book.  Clara used Crayola brand Slick Stix which is similiar to oil pastels and has a soft feel like lipstick when applying the medium to a ground.
